Meet Wasim Anwar

I understand the hesitation. I’ve lived it.

I know what it feels like to have something to say and struggle to get the words out. My own experience with stammering is what makes this work deeply personal to me.

Today, through Stammering Care Foundation, I help people work on their speaking challenges, build confidence, and participate more comfortably in everyday conversations.

Stammering was part of my life from childhood. I knew what I wanted to say, but expressing it was often a struggle. The difficulty went beyond getting words out. It affected how I felt about speaking and how I saw myself. I wanted to communicate freely, without every conversation feeling like another challenge to get through.

01

Searching for a way forward

I tried homeopathy and sought help from speech therapists. I began each attempt with hope, but I did not find the lasting change I was looking for at that stage. I also experimented on my own, trying ideas that I thought might help. Some turned out to be the wrong approach for me. There were repeated cycles of trying, feeling disappointed, and starting again.

02

Learning to understand my experience

Studying psychology gave me a new direction to explore. I became interested in the relationship between thoughts, emotions, habits, and speaking behaviour. I read, researched, explored NLP, and learned from the experiences of people who had made progress with stammering. I began observing my own speaking patterns more closely, looking at what happened before, during, and after a difficult speaking moment.

03

Applying, failing, and learning again

Understanding an idea did not mean I could immediately use it in everyday life. I would apply something, struggle, reflect on the experience, and try again. There were setbacks even after moments of progress. Gradually, I learned to adjust my practice, work on speech coordination, and carry what I was learning into real conversations. I also worked on how I responded to difficult moments and how I viewed myself as a speaker.

04

Finding my way

Over time, through this process of practice, observation, and repeated real-life application, I overcame my own struggles with stammering and developed greater confidence in expressing myself. It was a gradual journey, shaped by many attempts and lessons along the way.

That experience is why I understand the hope, frustration, and uncertainty that can come with searching for help. It also shaped the purpose of my work today: helping others approach their speaking challenges with patience, personal guidance, and support as they put their learning into practice.

From Personal Experience to Helping Others

As the founder and head trainer of Stammering Care Foundation, I bring my personal journey together with my experience coaching people with different speaking challenges.

I am also a certified NLP coach. My coaching focuses on understanding each person’s needs and helping them connect speech practice with everyday communication.

The framework

This work led me to develop the NeuroSync Fluency System, a structured training framework that brings together speech coordination, guided practice, real-life implementation, and the development of a more positive self-image.

What I Believe

I believe progress goes beyond how smoothly someone speaks. It also includes making a phone call they once avoided, sharing an idea in a meeting, introducing themselves, or continuing a conversation after a difficult moment.

My role is to help people recognise these changes, build on their experiences, and develop greater independence in their speaking journey.

My Vision & Mission

A world where your voice has room to be heard.

My vision is a world where people who stammer feel heard, respected, and confident to express themselves, pursue opportunities, and take part fully in life. Through Stammering Care Foundation, my mission is to bring this vision into practice by providing personalised training that combines speech skills, real-life implementation, and confidence building. I aim to create a supportive environment where every person can recognise their progress, develop more comfortable communication habits, and feel encouraged to use their voice.
